Jagannatha (Odia: ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ), which translates to 'Lord of the Universe,' holds a significant place in the hearts of devotees across India and the world. He is revered as part of quaternity (Chaturdha Murati), along with his siblings Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Lord Sudarshana. He is popuarly known as Mahaprabhu (Maha = Great; Prabhu = Lord) is the ultimate Brahman (Supreme Omnipresent), Purushottama (The Supreme Divine Being), Paramatma (Supreme Self), and Parameshwara (Supreme Lord).
